Hi! My name is Jeneba and I am a licensed certified social worker with 6 years of experience specializing in children (ages 3-22) and adults (ages 35-86) with developmental, neurological, and behavioral health needs. I’ve enjoyed working in various settings such as residential, school, healthcare, and community-based. Now, I work full-time as an Intensive Care Coordinator at a community-based agency working collaboratively to stabilize at-risk youth with complex mental health challenges. Additionally, I am trained in Crisis Intervention, Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence, and Risking Connection which is a relational framework for survivors of trauma.
My eclectic approach is warm, person-centered, and strengths-based. I believe in taking a collaborative and empowering approach to help adults reach their goals. My passion for adults first sparked when I started working with older adults in nursing homes and residential group homes. While working with adolescents, I became inspired by adults in their lives who often experience challenging life circumstances rooted in their childhoods. In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
